What is the AusFindr tracker?

AusFindr trackers help you keep track of everyday items like wallets, keys, bags, luggage and passports. Choose between the slim rechargeable Tracker Card for wallets and passport holders, or the Tracker Tag for keys, bags and AirTag-style accessories.

AusFindr trackers connect to either Apple Find My or Google Find Hub. Once set up, you can use your phone to view the tracker’s last known location or play a sound when it is nearby.

Do they work with both Apple and Android?

Yes. AusFindr trackers are compatible with both Apple and Android, but they can only be connected to one network at a time. During setup, you choose either Apple Find My or Google Find Hub.

Do you need a subscription?

No. AusFindr trackers do not require a monthly subscription, SIM card or separate tracking app. They work through Apple Find My or Google Find Hub.

Can I play a sound to find it nearby?

Yes. Both the Tracker Card and Tracker Tag have a built-in speaker, so you can play a sound from your phone when the item is nearby.

What power source can I use with the wireless charger?

The Wireless Charger connects via USB-C and can be powered from a standard USB-C power adaptor, laptop, power bank or other compatible USB-C power source.
For best charging performance, make sure the charger is connected securely and receiving a stable power supply.

How should I position the Tracker Card on the charger?

Place the Tracker Card flat on the charger, positioned slightly to the left rather than in the centre. The card should sit between the logo and the words “Tracker Card” on the charging pad.

If the charging indicator does not activate, adjust the card slightly while keeping it in that left-side position until charging begins.

Can I charge other devices with the Wireless Charger?

The charger is designed and tested specifically for AusFindr Tracker Cards.

It can work with some other devices that support compatible wireless charging, but compatibility and charging performance can vary. For phones, earbuds and other electronics, we recommend using the charger supplied or recommended by the device manufacturer.

Does AusFindr work overseas?

Yes. AusFindr trackers can work globally through the Apple Find My or Google Find Hub networks. When your tracker is detected by nearby compatible Apple or Android devices, its location can update in the app.

What if I need help setting it up?

AusFindr trackers are designed to be easy to set up, and detailed product guides are available if you need help with pairing, charging, battery replacement or troubleshooting.
