What is the range of the RFID & NFC Blocking Card?
The Blocking Card protects RFID and NFC-enabled cards positioned within approximately 1–2 cm of it. For best protection, keep the cards you want to protect close to the Blocking Card inside your wallet. For larger wallets or cards stored in separate sections, consider using a second Blocking Card.
Will my bank card still work for contactless payments?
Yes. Remove your bank card from the protected area of the wallet when you want to make a contactless payment.
Can the RFID & NFC Blocking Card protect my passport?
Yes. Most modern ePassports, including current Australian passports, contain a contactless RFID chip. Keep the passport within approximately 1–2 cm of the Blocking Card, such as together in a passport holder or travel wallet, to block unwanted scans.
