What is the AusFindr tracker?

AusFindr trackers help you keep track of everyday items like wallets, keys, bags, luggage and passports. Choose between the slim rechargeable Tracker Card for wallets and passport holders, or the Tracker Tag for keys, bags and AirTag-style accessories.

AusFindr trackers connect to either Apple Find My or Google Find Hub. Once set up, you can use your phone to view the tracker’s last known location or play a sound when it is nearby.

Do they work with both Apple and Android?

Yes. AusFindr trackers are compatible with both Apple and Android, but they can only be connected to one network at a time. During setup, you choose either Apple Find My or Google Find Hub.

Do you need a subscription?

No. AusFindr trackers do not require a monthly subscription, SIM card or separate tracking app. They work through Apple Find My or Google Find Hub.

Can I play a sound to find it nearby?

Yes. Both the Tracker Card and Tracker Tag have a built-in speaker, so you can play a sound from your phone when the item is nearby.

What is included in the AusFindr Tag 4-Pack bundle?

The bundle includes four AusFindr Tracker Tags and four black silicone or leather keychain holders. Each holder has a metal keyring, making it easy to attach the tags to keys, luggage, backpacks and other valuables.

How long does the tracker tag battery last, and can it be replaced?

Each tag uses a replaceableCR2032 battery, which typically lasts for approximately one year, depending on usage. When the battery runs low, it can be replaced without needing to purchase a new tracker.

How do place the tags in the keychain holders?

Gently stretch the holder and press the tracker tag into the circular opening, with the AusFindr logo facing outwards. The raised silicone edge holds the tag securely in place, while the included metal ring can be attached to keys, bags or luggage.

Does AusFindr work overseas?

Yes. AusFindr trackers can work globally through the Apple Find My or Google Find Hub networks. When your tracker is detected by nearby compatible Apple or Android devices, its location can update in the app.
